- What is the attire for MAX 2007?

Casual attire is appropriate for the entire week. Bring a sweater or sweatshirt in case of cool temperatures in session rooms.
- Is there coat check and baggage storage available at the convention center?

A permanent coat check is located at Gate 4 (the main entrance of McCormick Place, located on Martin Luther King Drive). Coat and baggage check locations may be added in other locations to accommodate event attendees.
- How long does it take to get to/from the airport, and how much does it cost?

- Are attendees permitted to bring guests?

Attendees are permitted to register a guest for a fee of $100. Registered guests are permitted to attend the Welcome Reception, Sponsor Reception and the Event Party. These two events are not available for purchase individually. Guest passes will be available for a fee throughout registration and during the event. Each guest pass holder must be accompanied by a paid MAX 2007 registration holder. The guest pass does not include access to any sessions, continental breakfasts or lunches, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with full event passes.
- Are children permitted to attend MAX 2007?

Children are not permitted to attend MAX 2007, including the evening events. However, Chicago offers numerous activities that may be appealing to families. In the event child care is needed, please contact your hotel directly to make the necessary arrangements.
- What is the registration process?

Registration is now open. To register for MAX 2007 and take advantage of online pricing discounts, simply complete the online registration and submit payment by September 21, 2007. NOTE: All Pre-Event Day Hands-On Training Sessions, which are offered as a supplement to the standard event schedule, are priced in addition to your registration fee.
- When will I receive my MAX 2007 pass?

MAX 2007 passes are available for pickup onsite at the registration area at McCormick Place West during designated registration hours (below). All related event materials will be available for pick-up in the registration area once you have checked in. A government issued, photo ID will be required to activate your pass and to collect your MAX 2007 materials. Your pass is required for admission to all event session events and activities. A fee will be charged for any replacement pass printed.
- Is onsite registration available?

Onsite registration will begin on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at 12:01 pm at McCormick Place West. The onsite registration fee is payable only by credit card. We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. Please note that availability in Pre-Event All Day Hands-On Training Sessions may be limited by the time onsite registration begins.

- Are attendee substitutions permitted?

Attendee substitutions from within the same company may be made at any time but must be made in writing. Substituting registration status to an individual outside of your company will not be granted. Please send an email to questions@adobemax2007.com. Substitutions are not confirmed until you receive written approval from the MAX Planning Team.
- What is the cancellation policy?

Event cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to questions@adobemax2007.com and received by Adobe before Friday, September 7, 2007 to receive a full refund, less an administration fee for event program management of $400 for the event program and $50 for the guest pass if one was purchased during the registration process. Cancellation requests received by Adobe after Friday, September 7, 2007 will be ineligible for refund.

- Can I apply to present a session at MAX 2007?

Session topics and speakers for MAX 2007 have already been selected. If you are interested in presenting at future Adobe MAX events, please contact max-info@adobe.com@adobe.com with your contact information and proposed topic.
- How long are the sessions?
-
Workshop sessions last 40-50 minutes for presentations and 10 minutes for questions and answers for a total of 60 minutes. Hands-on training sessions last 90 minutes and consist of presentations, demonstrations, examples, and hands-on class exercises. Pre-Event sessions last from 9AM - 5PM with a break for lunch.
- How were topics and speakers selected for MAX 2007?

The MAX 2007 Planning Team conducted a call for topics that closed on April 10, 2007. They then provided the suggestions to the Content Development Committee. The committee, which consists of a combination of representatives from multiple organizations within Adobe, developed the final session topics for each track. Each topic was evaluated based on its relevance to the overall event program. Speaker experience and history was considered when selecting presenters.
